Warranties Built to Protect You
We stand behind our workmanship and the materials we install. Here's exactly what's covered so you know what you're getting when you choose Nick's Vinyl Fencing.
Labor Warranty
Covers any issues that result from how the fence was installed — not the materials themselves. If a post shifts because it wasn't set deep enough, a panel comes loose due to improper fastening, or a gate sags because of faulty hanging, the installer comes back and fixes it at no charge. Five years is a strong standard for the industry; many contractors only offer one or two. It signals confidence in the crew's workmanship and gives homeowners real peace of mind that they won't be left holding the bill if something goes wrong shortly after install.
What it covers
- Post settling or leaning from installation error
- Loose or misaligned panels
- Gate hardware failure due to improper installation
- Faulty welds or connections on the fence structure
What it doesn't cover
- Damage from vehicles, weather events, or vandalism
- Normal wear and fading over time
- Issues caused by the homeowner modifying the fence
Product Warranty
Comes from the manufacturer of the vinyl fence materials, not the installer — though we're happy to help customers file claims, which is a big value-add. Vinyl is warrantied for life because it genuinely doesn't rot, rust, or corrode the way wood or metal does. The warranty typically protects against defects in the material itself — things like cracking, splitting, discoloration from manufacturing defects, or structural failure of the panels and posts under normal conditions.
What it covers
- Manufacturer defects in the vinyl panels, posts, and rails
- Abnormal cracking, splitting, or brittleness
- Significant fading or discoloration beyond normal weathering (varies by brand)
What it doesn't cover
- Physical damage (impacts, accidents)
- Improper installation (that's where the labor warranty kicks in)
- Modifications made after install
